El Fenn Maroc is a registered non-profit cultural association whose mission is four-fold; to build bridges across cultures through visual art; to support Moroccan artists, their families and communities; to preserve traditional Moroccan art forms while exploring new ways of interpreting the art, and to cultivate appreciation for the artistic experience through workshops, exhibits and other related activities. Funding is generated primarily from the sale of henna art on paper, wood and other materials. Both traditional Moroccan henna designs and contemporary designs are created by our artists. At present, programs at El Fenn Maroc include a free photography program for Moroccan youth, a partnership with women from villages outside of Marrakech who create carpets, and our HennaArt Initiative, which teaches naqashas new means of generating income through their trade.

The photography program is a partnership between El Fenn Maroc, Marrakech Henna Art Cafe, Open Doors Morocco, Creative Interactions, and The Giving Lens
